4 CommentsPosted by Alan Baxter on April 8, 2010 under Feature, Previews
The glorious sun is out shining today, reminiscent of what South Africa will hopefully provide during the 2010 FIFA World Cup when the tournament kicks off on June 11th. What better way to get us in the mood for the biggest sporting event in the world than a demo of the game which launches on April 30th? The question on everyone’s lips is whether 2010 FIFA World Cup is just FIFA 10 in disguise... more. -
Blur Multiplayer Preview
0 CommentsPosted by James Ireland on March 10, 2010 under Feature, Previews
There’s nothing blurry about it Many a journalist has been sceptical with Bizarre Creation’s Blur. Mainly because their teaser trailers have been a tad underwhelming and that there was a little stigma over Activision last year over some of their business practices. I had heard nothing personally remotely exciting about Blur. I just had it down for being nothing more than Wipeout but with cars... more. -

Royal Envoy Preview

If Alan Sugar was still a child, he’d play this! When we were handed a game called Royal Envoy to preview, we thought perhaps this would mean cavorting with the elite and pretending to give a damn about those less fortunate than us. Luckily a game wasn’t made of this and good thing too, because it would of been disastrous and would have only sold units by bankers buying their children a video... more. -
God Of War 3 Preview

Oh yes. I got me a copy of the exclusive God of War 3 demo to enjoy and I thought it only fair to share my impressions with you lovely people. So, waiting for the install was painful, I sat there waiting with baited breath, the controller gradually being squeezed harder and harder in impatience. Finally it installed a massive 2.6 GB demo and I was off. Little background as to why I’m recordi... more. -
Split/Second Preview

One of the biggest surprises of the Eurogamer Expo 2009 was Black Rock Studio’s Split/Second racing videogame. Technically I shouldn’t have been surprised how awesome this game is turning out to be, mainly because they did an exceptional job with Pure. However, what I was about to experience was pure adrenaline on a disc. Others around me were making all the sounds of having one of those ‘ga... more. -
PES 2010 Early Impressions (Full Game)

One thing that I didn't want to do was rush in with a review for this title. It was a mistake that I made with FIFA10 and subsequently we had to change the score after numerous issues with the game. So, here our my thoughts of PES2010 so far. I havent touched a great chunk of the game yet, just Champions League and the editing side of things, but so far...so good! ... more.

V: Pilot Reveal Review
0 CommentsPosted by James Ireland on October 28, 2009 under Previews, Recent News
At the MCM Expo on Saturday 24th October one event excited us and it wasn’t my lust to touch Craig Charles’s hair. It was to watch the preview of the re-imagination of the 80’s classic sci-fi series V. Although the preview footage was short, it wasn’t to be snuffed at and the cliff hanger we were left on only wanted us to see more. So what exactly happened in the preview? Well the story ... more.

Rabbids Go Home: Impressions
0 CommentsPosted by James Ireland on under Previews, Recent News
One of the big surprises at the MCM Expo 2009 was Ubisoft's: Rabbids Go Home. The Katamari-esque game has lots of charm and is arguably more entertaining than Katamari itself, though your not rolling everything into a ball, your stacking everything into a shopping cart, to collect enough crap to climb to the moon. Have a look at the video to see what we mean. ... more.

Tekken 6: Hands on Review
0 CommentsPosted by Dean Case on October 26, 2009 under Previews, Recent News
Tekken has always been a game with the same formula, and after beating a mate of mine, two cosplay girls and drawing with the Namco PR bloke, I can safely say, it’s Tekken. When the game was announced a while back, I didn’t really care too much about it, as for me, Tekken Tag Tournament on the PS2, will always be my favourite fighting game, and if I want to beat the shit out of a leopard man ... more.
