It seems that the update that takes Tweetie 2.0 – one of the most successful twitter clients- and rebrands it as “Twitter for iPhone” is imminent, with some users already being able to access the update. The guys over at techcruch posted the original story that shows that Tweetie 2.0 has been taken off the app store presumably to post the updated app. It also said that it has been dubbed version 3.o which suggests there have been other changes apart from the re-brand, although the file size has dropped from 2.8mb to 2.4mb which is quite interesting.
