Xbox employee SuperKaylo or Dan Maher as we know him, yes…the man who hit our Top 10 Douchebags list has just revealed that Sky Player will be hitting the Xbox 360 on October 27th 2009. Right on the day of my birthday, who’d have thought it. Hey, just because you all have a new toy to play with, don’t forget to send me birthday messages gang!

British Sky Broadcasting is the UK’s most popular satelitte television provider bringing entertainment to new devices seemingly every years. Sky’s last break through was offering Sky TV content via mobile phone, now it’s on it’s way to the Xbox 360 as announced earlier in the year at E3. There will obviously be a mandatory update required and subscription costs will most likely be in-line with Sky’s existing subscriber costs. It’s the first of many new features hitting Xbox 360 this year as the remainder will be added on November 17th, such as Twitter, Facebook and Last.FM. Gold subscribers have never had it better, roll on my birthday!

Footnote: It’s a shame i’m already a sky customer really, as this would of been an extra birthday present alone if i wasn’t…oh well!
