One of the hardest things every gamer has to endure is actually their 2 week holiday abroad. What on the surface seems to be a relaxing and sun baking escape turns into nights dreaming of an Xbox 360 controller. Or at least it felt like that for me, afterall being in games journalism soaks you in a world of PR, a autobahn paced industry that never stops and never sleeps. I´m pondering what I missed on Wednesday & Thursday in terms of DLC content, have my auspicious eye on what demo´s may have dropped. One of the biggest pills for me to swallow is knowing that I won´t get to play FIFA10 until i get back from Spain, whilst all you lucky bastards get to munch into one of this years hottest properties in the gaming industry.

This obviously serves up an interesting question, do these quandries and feelings only affect the hardcore gamer? I´m pretty sure it does, I mean afterall i´ve currently already been to a water park today, eaten food the riches would be proud of and baked my face into a rocky road and yet the feeling is there to get my game on! I´m so behind on everything relating to the industry that i´ll literally be swamped when i get back, a quick glance over our rivals sites would suggest that Sony have released another very inadventurous PSP firmware update and it would seem they are once again making bizarre business decisions by considering UMD´s of PSP GO! Mini games? Seriously? are Sony trying to pass up the reason to the PSP GO! completely!

All the time i´ve been away it would seem that the L4D boycotters have even managed to relax their neck muscles and give in to Valve regarding their boycott of the next L4D game. It´s information overload and I´ve only 4 minutes left, so i´ll leave you in the good capable hands of Sam Bage whilst i´m away, let´s just say this. When i get home, it´ll be a mini christmas of demos and trials that await my internet adapt machines! Until then Virtual Tennis in the foyer will have to do. No complaints!
